Adventure Time has really come into its own in the past two years. It's hard to find a kid or teen or pot-smoking 30-something who doesn't get down on Adventure Time, so the DS game seems to be the natural progression of things.
For the uninitiated, Adventure Time follows 12-year-old Finn and his magical dog, Jake, who is based on Bill Murray's Tripper Harrison from Meatballs. Together, they quest through the fantasy land of Ooo, meeting whimsical characters and pushing their TV-PG rating. That's... about all you need to know.
WayForward Games, responsible for sleeper DSiWare hit Shantae: Risky's Revenge, will be the dev studio and series creator Pendleton Ward is being tapped to write a new storyline and quests. Fans can rest assured AT's irreverent humor won't be lost in translation.
