[FAN-MADE] Half-Life Revamp Not Dead Yet - Here's the Screens to Prove It



It's been eight long, worrisome years since the Half-Life community first started raving about Black Mesa: Source, a full-on redressing of Valve's classic opus.

Although all's been quiet on the dev front for some time but Kotaku caught the screenshots released this morning which could keep hope alive.

Valve Settles With Blizzard, Retains DOTA Trademark


The legal kerfuffle over Valve's revived version of Defense of the Ancients ended today, with Blizzard surrendering commercial use of the "DOTA" trademark.

Blizzard released a short and somewhat cryptic press release that states they'll be allowed to use the name to refer to their version of the RTS on message boards, fan sites and the like, but the title will be officially called, "Blizzard All-Stars"henceforth.

... What's in a name?

Skyrim Creation Kit drops with Steam sale on Elder Scrolls series

FUS ROOOO YYEAAAHH - Yeah, that's "Macho Man" Randy Savage, in one of the more ridiculous Skyrim mods to-date

The Skyrim Creation Kit came today, as promised, and I was waayyy off...

The special "surprise" Bethesda Marketing VP Pete Hines tweeted about was a set of high-res textures that will replace the console-friendly world graphics that the game shipped with.

After numerous delays and much tarrying from Bethesda staff, it looks like, according to a tweet from Marketing VP Pete Hines (@DCDeacon), the Skyrim Creation Kit will drop on Steam on TuesdayAlong with it, a "surprise"... Details inside.
